Conan the Barbarian 4/24/20

Another cult classic that is in my top 10 favorite movies is none other than Conan the Barbarian. I am a big fan of Arnold as a actor as well as a bodybuilder and have enjoyed following his career and heroics in and out of the film industry. The story of Conan is an epic tale of a literal rags-to-riches barbarian who achieves all he could ever want.
The most awe-inspiring scene in the movie happens early on when all of Conan's people are slain and all the children are sold into slavery. These children's parents are slain by the tremendum inspiring Thulsa Doom and these children are forced to work pushing the Wheel of Pain. Conan is the one strong enough to survive into adulthood and eventually gains his freedom through gladiatorial combat. When tasked with returning a kings daughter from Thulsa Doom himself, Conan does something that tradition heroes don't often do. Conan casts out a sacred power and decides to put his order upon himself and control his own destiny. With help from a shamanistic wizard and his friends, Conan is able to complete the journey and find love.
