Bunny
The Bunny film that shows an old rabbit battling with a buzzing moth that is flying around his kitchen annoying him. The Bunny keeps trying  to kill or get rid of this moth. The  bunny falls asleep and wakes up but is actually dreaming. The bunny gets inside the oven to follow the moth that the bunny is so annoyed with. There is light coming out the oven and the moth goes into it as well as the bunny. This movie used a lot of color and light / darkness.  The director uses light  in the very beginning of the film as the moth is attracted to a very bright light. During the the movie, it is dark and composed of grays and blacks colors. The bunny had a very raggedy and beat up image. The bunny looked very old and was ready to die and meet back with the bunny’s spouse, who was shown in the pictures in the bunny’s kitchen.

Harold and Maude
In the clip from Harold and Maude, Harold seems to desire for the attention from his mom.  He even fakes suicides to get her attention. In the clip, Maude looks at Harold, they lock eyes then Harold makes direct eye contact with the camera kind of like the show the office ect. Maude's eyes and facial expression prevails her negative and disappointed feelings in Harold without even knowing what happened. Harold wants attention from his mother, and making people feel bad for you is the main way.

Pink Floyd
The Wall films setting is during  during World War 2. The mood in the film is similar to the mood of a war, dark and hopeless-like. There are tons of  religious symbols in the film. It shows the base of war and how much war can destroy rather than bring. In one of the sciences from the clip, the flag falls into a cross. The cross is a huge Christian symbol. Another symbol shown is a dove, which is largely known for peace. There is symbols of the cross as planes turn into crosses and there is a white dove flying over in the sky.

In the movie it is shown the wicked teacher bully and take advantage of students at school. Education is more or less supposed to feel free and like a choice. It then seems to be a obligation as it deteriorated the fun and joy in the young students. With this being said, we can see education as a symbol of robots. As we do not have a choice but are just forced to go through the motions. It holds barriers on your creativity and does not allow you to grow into your full self or your full potential.

Paris Texas

In the film, it is visible that amazing, bright and colorful desert with grand rock formations. We see a nicely dressed but ragged man. His red hat definitely stands out from the rest of his attire as he is dressed up. Power lines or phone lines were a symbol of communication or direction   He follows along the power lines and when he leaves with his brother, he keep looking back at it. It symbol of communication and/or direction. He seems to be lost and not have any idea where to go except follow the power line.  When his brother  finds him walking down the road by the power line he stops him and makes him get in the car. Like how we talked about in our discussion for class, the mountains behind the brother were smooth and even symbolizing his life as a put together man. The mountains behind the wondering character however are symbolic of his appearance such as rigid, uneven, and not as pleasant to look at.

In the film there is a lot communication symbols such as the airplanes and powerline that are more than often seen throughout the clip .

Travis is followed by the camera for about three minutes as he is traveling closer and closer to the yelling voice he hears. Travis then meets the voice he was hearing and ponders why the person is yelling at cars. He then decides to break the cycle and pat the man in the back walking away.

In the film the main character Travis goes  to the brothel to see his spouse. He then talks to her through a phone and she’s on the other side of a  black mirrored glass where only he can see her, like the fbi or cia. The wife seems to be reminiscing her life through out the blind conversation. Travis views a beautiful room through the window but all she sees is an unfinished wall as they turn the lights off,  perspective is a key theme to this film. After the she talks; Travis leaves the phone on the line and does not hang up but turns away from her. Here is another symbol as phone is a tool of communication and contact. Once she sees it is Travis, she puts  herself on the glass and holds her arms up  as if she is remorseful. All we can see is her body but Travis’ face covers it as they each looker closer, as a symbol of his love for her.

Northfolk
In Northfolk a father and a son are trying to get residents to move out in respects to a new damn undergoing construction. Many residents do not want to leave their homes. These two mean are trying to be very persuasive because the more people they get to move out means the more lake front property they get on the future lake. This film presents colors of light greys, blacks, whites and blues. These colors help capture Northfork for what it is. It shows Christian Gods word and what he created. The coffin represents life and death and how they coincide in relationship. Death is composed of sadness and remembering those who have died.
